Happy Child is looking for a UK Office Manager & Charity Administrator to develop a key role in its small committed team. Happy Child rescues, rehabilitates and reintegrates street children and children at risk in Brazil. A part time post with potential to expand to a full time role. Hours and salary negotiable.

Job Description
Job purpose:
- To support the day to day running and administration of the Happy Child Office and its small team
- To assist our Supporter Care Co ordinator through documenting and maintaining supporter care procedures
- To support Happy Child International Events administratively
Job Scope: The post holder works closely with the Happy Child International Operational and Supporter Care Managers
Accountability: The post holder reports to and is supervised by the Happy Child International Operational and Supporter Care Managers.
Key Responsibilities
Office Administration
- Ordering stationery, manual and electronic filing and creating relevant ongoing office filing systems
- Open, sort and channel incoming post as necessary
- To administer petty cash, day to day banking, expenses for the team and updating of relevant financial systems on Excel
- Payment of office bills/invoices and recording this on Excel
- The administration of Happy Child’s Gift Aid
Supporter Care
- Helping to document and maintain supporter care procedures and updating our supporter care database
- Processing daily receipt of individual donations and donor correspondence
- Working alongside the team to ensure that we produce and update key reports, data requests and analysis as requested on supporter activities
Events and Fundraising
- Supporting event project managers when required with administrative support
- Maintaining database of corporate sponsors, trusts and foundations.

All Happy Child International staff are expected to:
- Attend and contribute to regular team meetings when required and take minutes as asked
- Attend and support Happy Child’s 3 annual Events in June, September and December
- Occasional participate in training and other activities if requested to by the line manager
- Support and welcome volunteers and visitors
