Our Supporters

Happy Child was founded by Sarah de Carvalho in 1993 and has always depended on friends for their practical support, prayer and financial giving. We have friends in Brazil, UK, USA, Switzerland, Ireland and other countries. The charity had grown by 2006 to 50 staff with ambitious growth plans 2007 to 2010 and beyond to meet the needs of street children.
We have a fantastic team in Brazil and a strong platform on which to double our reach over the next few years, and this means building our resources and capabilities to sustain this growth in our services.

Also we need volunteers in a number of areas in the UK to support our events in different ways.

For our Brazilian Operations we need

Individuals who have a long term call to work in Brazil with children and young people
