Trusts & Foundations
Happy Child delivers long term, sustainable improvements to children's lives. We help the most disadvantaged children and their communities. To achieve our vision of street children realising their potential, we need to be able to sustain our operations as we expand our homes and staff.
Support from trusts can make a huge difference to our work. We welcome the opportunity to build successful relationships with new and existing partners. Together we can help children and young people worldwide.
How your trust could support us
£500
Provides for one of our houses for 12 children all the educational materials for a year, or all of the food for a month, or all of the heating, lighting and cleaning services for a month.
£2,500
Pays for the salary of one of our care assistants who look after the children at our homes, or the water and sewage services for one house for a year, or the replacement of our office computer system.
£5,000
This would fund capital works at our farm complex in Belo Horizonte which for 10 years has been our largest home and is in much need of improvement, or would pay the annual rental costs of one of the five houses in Belo Horizonte that we do not own.
£10,000
This would enable us to fund the improvement and fitting of one of the two houses that we have been given for our new centre in Recife. Both properties require extensive improvement to bring them to an acceptable standard. This would also pay for all staff costs for one of our houses for one year, or the purchase and running of a minibus.
£15,000
This would pay for all of the operational costs of running one of our houses for a year. We have 7 in Belo Horizonte, two opening in Recife in 2007, and plans to open more houses as funds allow.
£30,000
This would fund the whole costs of running one of our homes for a year, covering rent, services, staff and children’s facilities.
£50,000
This would fund the whole of the new Recife operation in 2007, covering the improvement and equipping of two houses and all of our operational and staff costs.
