How we are organised
Happy Child International today is a partnership between the UK Board of Directors and the Brazil Council of Reference based in Belo Horizonte.
UK Organisation
The UK Board provides resources and support. Happy Child International was incorporated as a company limited by guarantee by Companies House on 14th September 2006 – number 5935028. The objects of the Company are the same as those of the original Happy Child Mission, but in addition expand the scope of the work to include the advancement of education to children in need throughout the world.
Happy Child International is subject to the laws of the United Kingdom as set out in the Companies Acts 1985 and 1989, the Trustees Act 2000, and the regulations of the Charity Commission.

Brazil Organisation
The Brazilian Board is responsible for the delivery of operational services as well as raising funds, and working with the Brazilian government to secure funding and influence policy.
The Brazilian Team is:

International Board of Council
Formed in November 2007. Pastor Paulo Mazoni (co-chair), Luiz Flavio Guimaraes, Amauri Pimental (director of Happy Child Brazil), Sarah de Carvalho (founder), John Kopij, Rev Jeremy Taylor (co-chair), Mark Pinks.
The individual Happy Child Board of Councils that oversee operations in Brazil, UK and eventually Africa will each be accountable to the International Council.
