Campaigns
Our main campaign in 2007 is our appeal to raise the funds for our ambitious plans for growth to 2010. Our aim is to reach over 2,000 street children by opening a Recife centre in 2007 and a third centre by 2010.

- Those in green are the staff and structure needed to get Recife up and running in 2007
- Those in red are what we need for the next two years 2008-9 Phase 2.
- The figures show you approximately how much it will cost to fund those particular resourse each year.
In 2006 we helped 1155 street children. In 2007, by opening Recife we hope to reach 2,000 children. Our plans are to treble our reach by 2009.

During each stage over 48 trained and dedicated staff are available to care for the children. We need to expand our staff in proportion to children served.

Happy Child refuge, safe homes and a farm community provide a safe and secure base to assist the rehabilitation process. During urgent expansion in 2007 there will be resources for the construction and renovation of houses for the children.
Transport and other facilities-Happy Child has grown quick ly and now needs investment in areas such as minibuses and other facilities.
Skilled specialists, such as in-house psychologists and teachers are available when needed, These need to expand as we grow our services.
