Social Mum

My name is Enedina Cavalcante Laranjeira. I come from the Aguas Belas, Agreste Region in Pernambuco, North East Brazil.

I heard about Happy Child through the General Manager, Amauri Pimental, who invited me to join Happy Child as a social mum.

I have been with Happy Child since May 2006 and I can say that it has been very gratifying to work with the children. They see in me a safe port to go to, and someone in whom they can trust. Many of them treat me like the loving mother they have never had.

I know that Happy Child is a work of God on this earth, with the purpose of channeling children and young people to a safe place and principally of teaching them the word of God.
