Afternoon Tea for Happy Child International
A great time was had by everyone at our first afternoon tea at Bishop's Stortford Baptist Church on Saturday 26th September, to raise funds for Happy Child International.
Good company, conversation and lovely food with an English and a Brazilian theme.
It was also an opportunity to share about the ongoing projects in Brazil and about Happy Child's vision.
There was a special atmosphere as people met new friends and chatted together.
We raised enough funds to support a young person through the Mentoring and Skills project for a year.
But this is just one story. There are many more young people who need someone to believe in them and walk alongside them.
