Tracy Moreton joins the Happy Child International Team

My name is Tracy and I am looking forward to becoming part of the Happy Child International team. For the past thirty years I have worked with internationals from all over the world. I was married for thirty-three years and have two married sons and one Grandson.

I spent a number of years serving as a missionary with UFM (United Field Mission)  in Belem, Para, Brazil with church planting in a river community and teaching in an international school. On returning to the UK, I set up a ministry to internationals in my home church and led a Portuguese speaking congregation. 

In 2017 I joined Friends International a UK based charity which reaches out to international university students and helps them to feel at home in the UK. I was a Staff Worker based at the University of Essex in Colchester and Assistant Chaplain and for five years worked in the Support Centre as a Supporter Relations Administrator.

For the last two years I have been helping a small evangelical church set up a ministry to internationals. I love teaching English and alongside my regular work I have enjoyed helping students improve their language skills.

I love to travel and spend time getting to know different cultures and learning languages as well as taking my dog Rusty on long walks. Brazil has always been on my heart, and I am extremely excited about this new opportunity.
